Subject	Shift Boot

Message	My car was making unusual sounds in 2nd,4th, and Reverse. It was coming from the transmission and with the help of some ttnet members I diagnosed the problem as one of the shift boots. I took it to a local transmission place I know and they said one of the boots popped off and they just put it back in place. This solved the problem temporarily because yesterday it started making the same noise. I took it to the same place and they said I would have to replace this boot. They said it was going to cost close to $60 in parts. I went on to courtesynissan.com and looked at the two dust boots and they were only 6 bucks a piece. If you have had this problem before with your manual, can you please tell me how you fixed it and which parts were replaced....thanks
